The Zealots! A short history

Hey Everyone,

It's been a great couple of years since we started the, 'Zealots,' the band that play all of my songs live. We've released two EP's - one recorded live, Played at a friends wedding - with one of my songs as the first dance (honoured!) and now have two residencies around London (more info on the website). The focus has always been creating a great vibe, in what we play and for people to watch, with an underlying importance of the song. It's been hard trying to get regular gigs that can support a 10 piece band, but that has also been a blessing, as the gigs we have played have always seemed special.

Not only have the guys in the band been amazing to watch and learn from but they have also become close friends, which has made the project really special. If we have problems with a bit of harmonic progression or a gap in theory, there is always someone with and answer. This is due to all the members being dedicated to pushing forward on their instruments. I've left a link below to a little vid below showing the guys in action, and in the future I'll be doing a blog profiling all the Zealots, past and present and how they are impacting the industry.....

Rehearsals for the big night

YO!

Rehearsals for the big night have been going really well. I've dropped a couple of photos below of some of the madness. The band is really starting to gel and the dynamic is great! Bring on tomorrow night! BV's are coming in for tonight's rehearsal, can't wait!
